Smjörvi is a rising star in the Icelandic music scene. He first appeared on the scene in 2016 as part of the duo Smjörvi and HRNNR.

Smjörvi is known for his colorful and youthful musical style. The song Ég vil þig is a sugary love song about the longing and the uncertainty that arises when summer love appears, a love that makes you want to blow up the whole universe, even though you may never find enough explosives for such a project. Smjörvi is currently working on new material with Spectral Assault Records. The material will be released on Smjörva’s upcoming LP, which is also his first of its kind. Let’s wait excitedly.
