According to him, there are three kinds of men that disrespect women, each with their distinctive foul behaviors. It is a bold move for Pink to tackle such a sensitive societal issue, especially considering that he admits to having crossed boundaries himself in the past. The song can be seen as penance, with Major Pink saying that he didn’t always know where the line was and that he hopes this song will help educate men on what is right and wrong.
Love Me Loud opens with a heavy guitar sound that sounds like it has come from an 80s rock song. As the song picks, there is an infusion of punk and electro, Pink’s signature style. The rock and punk vibe give the song an aggressive nature, matching the antagonistic message of the men he embodies in the song. The aggressive vibe would also work well as a catharsis for any woman who may have experienced any form of abuse. True to form, Major Pink doesn’t hold anything back in the lyrics. He chooses words and phrases that any woman could swear they have heard before.
