Presentation of works in progress takes place in collaboration with the Icelandic Film Center at the Stockfish Business Days. Icelandic film and television works in progress will be presented there.
The event will take place in the Nordic House, but will also be streamed live and recorded for those who cannot attend. The program is intended to open up the possibilities of the participating projects, for distribution and promotion, here and abroad. The final list of works in progress will be published today on March 12.

Stockfish is now being held for the ninth time and will take place in Reykjavík from March 23 – April 2. The industry days continue to grow as a platform for robust conversation within the industry. Their purpose is to provide a space to connect people together, to form strong and useful relationships between professionals in Icelandic and foreign filmmaking. But also to create and open opportunities for diversity and innovation in the industry. Industry days are intended to promote cultural diversity in film and to share knowledge among people in the industry, film festivals, distributors and artistic directors.
Now you can go to stockfish website and see all the film programs in one place. There are many award-winning films and more than one Oscar-nominated film. We are so proud of the program that we can say that you will be happy with whatever movie you choose to see. They are all good. Looking forward to seeing you at the cinema!
