Saturday May 27th, the Hárið concert show will be staged in Laugardalshöll by the same people who staged the Grease show in 2022.
The direction is in the hands of Gréta Salóme, who will also take part in the exhibition, while the actor and screenwriter Ólafur Egilsson will lead visitors through the story through speech, gestures and tones. Singing Stars Andrea Gylfadóttir, Dagur Sigurðsson, Júlí Heiðar, Kristinn Óli (Króli) Haraldsson, Magni Ásgeirsson and Sigríður Beinteinsdóttir together with the American Joel Walker, who comes to the country especially to take part in the show.
A dance group takes full part in the show under the direction of Margrétar Harðar Jóhannesdóttur. The setting of the exhibition will be spectacular in terms of sound, lighting and staging. The performance will be projected directly onto giant screens on either side of the stage so that nothing is missed by the guests in the hall. The musical Hair premiered in 1967 and has since been shown all over the world. The film Hárið was released in 1979 and established as one of the greatest musicals of all time.
At the concert show in Laugardalshöllin, visitors will experience all the awesome songs from the musical as well as more songs in a live performance by the band Stuðlabandið along with a brass band, percussion and Jón Vídalín’s Gospel Choir under the musical direction of Davíð Sigurgeirsson.
