The band KRAMPAR were releasing their first album, an album that has been titled Seizures band and its name was created after the band’s main song and lyricist Magnús Þór Magnússon was putting the finishing touches on an album and he got some of his friends to join him. to help him record it in a studio.
The album contains six songs, all sung in English except one which is sung in Icelandic. The main theme of the album is a settlement of a difficult time when Magnús was diagnosed with cerebral vascular entanglement and had convulsions in his body and had to undergo a 14-hour laser brain surgery in London in 2014. This had a great impact on Magnús’s life and he went through two rehabilitations after it, and a structure that still stands today. But the operation was successful and the complication is gone but the hardest time was three years after the operation because it takes that time to see if the operation was successful or not. Magnús found peace of mind in creating music, and at that time this album was created.
The first song of the album was heard on radio stations Xið-977 and Rás 2 and was heavily played on the former, but it was the song Death is not scary, dying is. Another song from the album, the song Grateful, has now been played on Xina and Rás 2
