The music and culture website Albumm.com makes a contract with the venue SIRKUS for concerts.
SIRKUS reopened a short time ago and the reception has been brilliant to say the least. SIRKUS has a long history, but the place was one of the main places in the country, but the place was closed in 2007, but two years later a branch was opened in the Faroe Islands.
Most all bands and artists visited the place and we can mention e.g. The Faroese artists Eivaru pálsdóttir and the punk band 200, but many Faroese artists have been connected to the SIRKUS in one way or another. Of course, the place was always packed with Icelandic artists, and we can mention, for example, Sigur Rós, Björk, Botnleðja, Quarashi, Maus, Ensími and many more. Everything is as it should be, the palm trees are in place and of course the tables, but they are all decorated by our main artists. Up to 20 artists took part in decorating the whole place, which gives the place a fun look.
Albumm will hold several concerts a month at SIRKUS and no musical direction will be left untouched.
“It’s time to hold a concert in a cool place like SIRKUS. This is the best place in town and that’s why we chose SIRKUS. The vibe in there is unique and the atmosphere is great, it doesn’t get any better than that” It’s great to land a deal with this place! – Says Steinar Fjeldsted one of owners of Albumm.com.
